Description

The purpose of this article is to present the components of a toolkit for parents and clinicians, steps taken to refine it, ways it has been shared, and the extent to which it has been accessed.

Intended Audience: All neonatal nurses

Objectives: Upon completion, learners will be able to:

  1. Outline the NEC-Zero quality improvement process.
  2. Describe the tools in the NEC-Zero toolkit.
  3. Discuss the dissemination of information regarding the NEC-Zero toolkit.

    Purpose of this CE Activity: The purpose of this column is to evaluate therapies with the potential to prevent bronchopulmonary dysplasia, including inhaled nitric oxide, vitamin A, azithromycin, and diuretics.

    Requirements for Completion: The following requirements are necessary for successful completion of this CNE activity.

    • Access to a computer with an Internet connection
    • Pass the posttest with a score of 80%
    • Complete and submit the evaluation for this CNE activity
