Identify challenges in assessing infants with neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS).
Describe the pathophysiology of NAS.
Discuss the pharmacologic management of NAS.
Purpose of this CNE Activity: The purpose of this article is to review pharmacotherapy for neonatal abstinence syndrome for an upcoming issue devoted to NAS.
