Description

Healthcare in 2018 will continue to be the whitewater of change and uncertainty. Legislators and consumers are demanding more cost transparencies. With the shift away from fee-for-service, healthcare systems want ways to lower costs while simultaneously improving the quality of care. Utilizing big data and clinical evidence to improve patient outcomes is of increasing importance. These challenges have implications for nursing. Dr. Melnyk provides an overview of what to expect in 2018 and how to handle the unexpected challenges of providing quality and proving it works within our systems.
