Dr. Goldsmith describes four common ventilation scenarios and explores the pathophysiology and treatment of each case. Cases include chest x-rays, blood gases, and ventilator changes for you to interpret and discuss.

  • Discuss how to utilize respiratory physiology to manage ventilator control of the neonate.
  • Describe how to use respiratory physiologic principles to determine oxygenation and tissue oxygen delivery in the ventilated neonate.
