Describe components of the NEC-Zero prevention bundle.
Identify a toolkit to support implementation of NEC-Zero.
Critique the fit of a telehealth-delivered mentoring intervention (NeoECHO) to support units to adopt NEC-Zero.

Purpose of this CNE activity: Have you ever wanted to reduce necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) in your unit but don't know where to start? Does it seem like there has to be a better way to communicate concern when NEC warning signs arrive on the scene? Does reducing NEC feel impossible and the inertia of "because we do it this way" paralyze those who want to make change? Dr. Gaphart presents a body of evidence in NEC risk awareness and recognition using GutCheckNEC, examine a bundle for NEC prevention called NEC-Zero and share initial findings for using "Project ECHO" to help units end NEC.
