Purpose of this CNE activity: When caring for a critically ill neonate, we have been taught to look at vital signs and blood pressure as the first signs of instability. It is now clear that these important pieces of information don't tell the whole story. In this presentation Dr Ashrafi will discuss the use of Targeted Neonatal Echocardiography to better understand neonatal hemodynamics. He will also discuss how this additional information can be useful in selecting the correct medications to support hemodynamic stability.
