Andrea Vance APRN, NNP-BC

Andrea Vance started her career in 1998 as a PICU/NICU bedside RN. She has advanced her career as NICU Transport RN, NICU Educator, and then attended Graduate School in becoming a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. She has been a lead facilitator for Neonatal Simulations since 2011 in Kansas City. Upon moving to Texas in 2015, she created the Dell Children's Neonatal Simulation Team along with Dr. Jayne Truckenbrod and Kathleen Grady-Greene. It has been her life long passion to train staff who care for critically ill children in recognizing and providing care to the decompensating patient. She and Dr. Truckenbrod are the Directors of the Dell Children's Neonatal Simulation Team encompassing Central Texas and outlying facilities that transport to DCMC.
