Barbara Reyna PhD, RN, NNP-BC

Barbara Reyna has over 40 years of experience in neonatal nursing with 38 years as a NNP. She obtained her BSN from Binghamton University in NY and her MSN and PhD from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Since 2017 she has served as an associate professor in the school of nursing at the University of VA, where shee teaches in the neonatal and pediatric graduate programs. Despite her years of experience, she remains in awe of the tiny babies she cares for and their remarkable resilience.
