Desiree McDonald MSN APRN NNP-BC

Desiree has been immersed in Neonatology since she graduated from nursing school in 2007. She is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with the Fort Worth Pediatrix Medical Group.

She graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, then obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She is presently concluding her Doctor of Nursing Practice to graduate from Murray State University in Kentucky in May of 2025.

Her most recent endeavors involve improving vascular access for the tiniest and most vulnerable patients. One of her many goals is to minimize unnecessary transfers and the associated transports that separate infants from their parents and displace families from their communities.
