Outline the pathogenesis of germinal matrix hemorrhage–intraventricular hemorrhage (GMH-IVH).
Identify the steps in diagnosing and grading GMH-IVH.
Discuss the prevention and management of GMH-IVH.

Purpose of this CE Activity:

The purpose of this article is to present current evidence specific to the pathogenesis, risk factors, diagnosis, grading scales, and management
approaches to GMH-IVH in preterm infants.
