Describe the mechanism of action of fentanyl and morphine.
Discuss the side effects of opioids in the neonatal population.
Identify the clinical features of Noonan syndrome.
Outline the embryology of the lymphatic system.
Discuss the relationship between Noonan syndrome and lymphatic abnormalities.
Identify normal anatomic features of neonatal skin.
Outline the etiology and pathophysiology of pressure ulcers in neonates.
Discuss the assessment of neonates at risk for pressure ulcers.
Describe treatment options for neonatal pressure ulcers.

Purpose of this CNE Activity: The purpose of this article is to provide a critical look at the literature supporting the use of probiotics as a strategy to reduce necrotizing enterocolitis.

Requirements for Completion: The following requirements are necessary for successful completion of this CNE activity.
