Dr. Jonathan Davis is Chief of Newborn Medicine and Director of the Clinical and Translational Research Center at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Davis received his MD from McGill University, completed a Pediatric Residency at Harvard Medical School and a Neonatology Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
His research has been focused on respiratory disorders of newborns, newborn brain injury, and oxidant/antioxidant balance. He has authored over 125 manuscripts and book chapters and received numerous grants from the National Institutes of Health, the March of Dimes, the American Lung Association, and private industry totaling over $10 million dollars.
Dr. Davis has lectured worldwide including the Vatican Children's Hospital in Rome and the Pasteur Research Institute in Paris. He has served on many advisory panels for the NIH and FDA and is currently Chair of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Pediatric Sub-Committee at NICHD.
