Objectives: Upon completion, learners will be able to:

Describe the shifting focus of palliative care in nursing.
Describe the goals of palliative care (PC) prenatally and during hospitalization in the NICU.
Discuss how to identify patients who could benefit from a perinatal or neonatal palliative care consult.

Learning Outcome: Learners will increase their knowledge of how to work with a family whose baby has been diagnosed with a life-limiting condition in utero.

Requirements for Completion: The following requirements are necessary for successful completion of this CNE activity.

Participants must be registered for the conference.
Attend at least 90% of each session.
Complete evaluations to earn continuing professional development contact hours.
