Dr. Flagg is a retired Army Nurse and leadership coach with 30 years of healthcare experience. Her expertise is in systems leadership, workforce development and stakeholder engagement. Roles that she held while in uniform include Director, Preventive Medicine at West Point Military Academy, Director of Public Health Services at Brooke Army Medical Center, XO for the U.S. Army Medical Corps Chief, and the U.S. Army Public Health Command’s representative for the CDC’s Community Guide. More recently, Lakisha has served as the Strategy, Policy, and Communications Lead for the Louisiana Department of Health and Senior Consultant in support of the VHA's Office of Quality & Safety. She currently serves a Leadership Coach at Medley Living, where she supports Fortune 500 clients.
