Lindsay Ruffini CPNP, CPNP-AC, CPNP-PC

Ms. Lindsay Ruffini is a pediatric nurse practitioner at Children's National Hospital. She has spent her entire 25-year nursing career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit setting, first as a bedside nurse then transitioning to the role of an advanced practice provider in a level IV NICU in 2015. Three years ago, Ms. Ruffini joined the neurocritical care team to work as a neonatal neurology nurse practitioner in this same level IV NICU, where between one-third to half of all admissions are due to neurologic conditions, including HIE. Ms. Ruffini is a member of the inpatient NICU neurology consult service and also follows NICU neurology patients once they have graduated from the NICU in the multi-disciplinary Perinatal Brain Injury clinic.
