Discuss the practice of nasal ventilation as a primary or secondary mode of respiratory support.
Describe the different modes of non-invasive ventilation.
Describe the role of Nasal High-Frequency Jet Ventilation as a novel means of NIV support.

Purpose of this CNE activity: Dr. Ramanathan discusses different modes of non-invasive ventilation (NIV) and indications and techniques to use the different modes of NIV. In addition, novel means of delivering nasal high-frequency jet ventilation are explored.
