Suzanne McMurtry Baird DNP, MSN, RN

Dr. Suzanne McMurtry Baird is a graduate of Rush College of Nursing's DNP Executive Leadership track and Vanderbilt University MSN and BSN programs. Suzanne has extensive clinical experience in obstetrical nursing, currently works as a consultant with her company, Clinical Concepts in Obstetrics, and has a podcast - The Critical Care Obstetrics Podcast. Previously, Suzanne served as the Maternal Quality Improvement Specialist for TIPQC, as Clinical Program Development at Texas Children’s Hospital, taught obstetric nursing at worked in L&D at Vanderbilt. For AWHONN, she has authored/edited the CCOE and POEP modules and served on Board of Directors. She is editor of textbooks - Intrapartum Management Modules, 5th edition and AWHONN’s High Risk and Critical Care Obstetrics, 4th and 5th editions.
